Love Hormone

Dopamine is that substance released by our brain when we are in a state of love. When we are in love, Dopamine floods us, as if we lived on another planet and we are in the grip of a state of mind that makes us see reality differently.

The lover's gaze does not see what is there because it is too focused on seeing what it wants to see.

The lover enters a state of grace, where the is always the desire to be with the beloved one. This state can last for months or even years, and then Love leaves the predominant territory of emotions to also enter that of rational thought.

In this state, Love is no longer wanted because desired, but desired because wanted.

In this case, Oxytocin, a substance that acts as a stabilizer and intimidator, enters the biochemistry of the brain of lovers.

Oxytocin is known as the hormone that is emitted in massive quantities in the brain of a woman who is giving birth and during breastfeeding, ensuring the relationship of the two parents is nourished.

It is Oxytocin that makes us feel attached and intimate with another person with whom we have a bond, so much so that it has been defined as the "Love Hormone".
